2004 & 2005 Angel's Run
I (Doug Hansen) have always found it easy to run and wanted to honor my daughter by doing something to help her and other kids that have been born with "special needs". So my wife(Jennifer) and I had this idea of doing a 24hr event to honor our daughter. On 2004 & 2005 I walk-jogged-ran around a local high school track for 24hrs and covered over 100 miles!
I wanted to spend an entire day walking-jogging-running to honor my daughter in a special way. Angel is not able to walk or run, by doing a entire 24hrs. I wanted to show to her that I will go to any length to raise money-awareness-and most of all do anything for my little girl-Angel.

On Saturday, April 3, 2004 at 8:00 am theFirst Angel’s Run was held. Angel’s Run raised
over $40,000 for Angels Charity.
The 2nd Annual Angel's Run was held on Saturday April 8,2005. 5:00pm - 5:00pm
Angel’s Run is 24hrs so come out and join the fun at anytime. This year Doug will be joined by his good friend Peter Mulders from Northern California. While Doug and Peter and others are running/walking for 24hrs, please come out to the track at Newport Harbor High School in Newport Beach, California and enjoy a special day. While Doug and Peter are running/walking please feel free to come out and do a few laps with them. During the 24hrs there will be a health and information fair, food and drinks for sale, a raffle, and even a silent auction. Our hopes are to bring attention to all the many children with "special needs".
